RETIREMENT SALE- EVERYTHING MUST GO!! Celebrating 40 years in business, Kennington Jewelers will be closing its doors officially December 23rd, 2023.

All current jobs in the workload will be finished before Christmas 2023.

Congratulations to the Kennington Family on 40 successful years in business! Established in 1983, Kennington Jewelers has always set the bar for exemplary craftsmanship and customer service. Jeff thanks his loyal customers for 40 years.

Jeff began doing jewelry work while he was still in high school as an apprentice under Carlos Jimenez at the old Lewis Diamond Mine back in 1978. Under Carlos’ expertise, Jeff learned all of his jewelry repairing and manufacturing skills.

At the age of 23, Jeff opened his own store with partner Rob Sanders under the name of Treasure Chest Jewelers. Jeff further improved his skills as he was totally responsible for all of the stores’ repairs and manufacturing as well as Rob’s store, Sanders Diamond Company.

After 5 years, Jeff was able to buy out his partner and changed the name to Kennington Jewelers. It has truly been a family business. At one time or another Jeff has employed all four of his siblings, three of his children and his wife, Peggy, who has been a part of the accounting team for 40 years.

Kennington Jewelers has been located in the same shopping center at First and Nees for the last 40 years. Specializing in custom jewelry, Jeff’s work has always spoken for itself in terms of quality. Our loyal customers and community surrounding us have been a blessing over the years. Jeff is looking forward to spending more time with his children and grandchildren as he enjoys his retirement.
